It was a cold day to go fishing, but the Trailmen of OR-1531 did just that. Working on their outdoor skills branch, they braved some wind and a little rain to learn some of the ins and outs of lake fishing. Hot cocoa between casts helped everyone keep smiles on their faces.
For some of the boys this was the first time they had ever fished, and most of the dad’s were more than a little rusty. However, by the end of the day everyone was proficient in casting and understood the fundamentals.
